Every person experiences the world differently. We adapt activities, remove barriers and let everyone take part at their own pace, without judgement or pressure to fit in.
Empowering through nature.
Our mission
Our mission grows from personal experience as much as shared belief. We know firsthand how neurodivergence can shape how you see, feel and move through the world.
We believe every neurodivergent individual deserves the chance to thrive, feel a true sense of belonging, and experience lasting positive change. We harness the power of the great outdoors to create inclusive, supportive and meaningful experiences that nurture mental health, build resilience, and help people reconnect — with themselves, with others, and with the world around them.
At our heart is a promise: to celebrate every difference, break down barriers, and help everyone feel part of something bigger.

Hi, I'm Darren.
I'm neurodivergent — diagnosed with ADHD, autism and dyslexia. For a long time it felt like my brain was a radio tuned to five stations at once, all playing too loud. Rejection sensitivity, executive dysfunction, burnout — I know them all well.
Two things changed it: I found the outdoors, and then I found other people like me. When I step into nature, the noise in my head softens. The mountains don't reject me — they're just there, steady and solid. And being around other neurodiverse people is the first place I've ever been able to fully unmask.
Want to walk for an hour and say nothing? Perfect. Want to talk fast and follow every thought? That's fine too. Nobody's staring, nobody's judging — and I leave feeling energised, not burnt out.
That's why I started The Outsiders Club. You don't have to mask. You don't have to perform. You just have to show up exactly as you are.
Our core values
Understanding, warmth and professional care in every activity and interaction — so people feel safe, accepted and empowered to be fully themselves.
Being around people who just get it. Shared experiences reduce isolation and build real, lasting connection.
Time outdoors helps process difficult feelings, eases stress, rebuilds confidence and nurtures a stronger sense of self-worth.
